Bits and Field Trips

In January we sold the Van after 6 or so years together. Strangely, I don't miss it.

 

 

I finally messed with my 50mm lens that Chad got me a year ago.

 

 

I also went on a few 'fieldwork' expeditions with the boys. Grey's class went to the Leonardo Museum in SLC.

 

 

Lance's class went to the Astro Camp in Ogden.

 

 

Grey attended his first dance!! It was held February 13th at the school. Grey and I (mom) went out one night for dinner and to pick out a new tie or two.

 

 

Chad and I went to the dance as chaperones.  There were three types of dances that were taught at the dance. A swing, a waltz, and a line dance.

 

And then a few days later Chad, Erin and I went to IKEA and found a few chairs for the living room.

 

 

So that's a summary of January and February of 2013.

On Christmas Eve I had my birthday cake. This year the cake didn't pan out as well as usual but as always I'm impressed that he tried. It's kinda funny.

 

 

Just like last year we tuned into NORAD to track Santa around the world.

 

As Santa crossed the Atlantic we sent everyone off to bed!!
