Naturally, I forgot to take a before picture! Here is the main bath after we had ripped out the old tile and begun re-sheet rocking the walls. I'm sure most of you remember the peach tile. The person who installed it stapled chicken wire to the sheet rock and then cement over the chicken wire and then tiled on the cement. That stuff was NOT coming off. The easiest thing to do was just cut the sheet rock from the studs with the tile still attached. The demo work was LOUD. Here's dad's homemade earplugs.
We picked a great 9 by 12 cream/marbled tile to replace the lovely peach.
Here we are all grouted and ready to go. It will take a few more days for the residue to wash off but I'm very happy with how it turned out. Thanks Mom and Dad for all the hard work and teaching!!
