Chad's Birthday

Chad just turned 39!! We had carrott cake and homemade vanilla ice cream. And 39 candles.

We did make a cake from (box) scratch but when we went to flip it out of the pans they crumbled into a thousand pieces! We mixed the frosting into the crumbs and made cake muffins to snack on later and then went and bought a premade cake. With 39 candles. (I love Lance's face in this one!)

Happy Birthday Chad!

Temple Update

Here's an update on the Brigham City Temple:

It's been rain-y with highs in the 50's for almost 2 weeks now. That's why these pics are so gloomy. Wasn't spring supposed to hit here a few weeks ago?

Pre School Graduation

Today was Erin's preschool graduation!  There were songs and presentations and really cool hats!!

Erin and her friend Allie (in the pink and zebra) had to have the same color shakers.

Erin spent days practicing this song called Tooty Ta...it's as silly as it sounds. We all laughed and laughed.

Teacher (Mrs. Clark) gave each child a book with pictures and art work that had been done during the year. She also had a few nice things to say about each student.  She said Erin was good at every thing she did and all the other kids loved her. Erin made a good friend. She said Erin was always willing to spend extra time to help teacher clean up. (Huh?)

These two are like peas in a pod! C-R-A-Z-Y!!

Chalk One Up!

On Wednesday as Chad was leaving for work (after lunch) he told Lance he should draw a picture on the driveway if he was board. So Lance and I drew some pictures. Then we were joined by some of the neighborhood kids and ended up with a rather large mural. We traced each other and the basketball goal and drew anything we could think of. Needless to say, Chad was suprised when he got home.

Yes, Erin is in her PJ's. It was her 3rd outfit (out of 4) that day.

Kim had asked what kind of camera we ended up with and I'll tell you...it's a Canon Rebel T1i. I am loving it. It's officially Spring once Mother's Day hits and our pear tree and tulips are blooming and the bees and bugs are out. We've been in the 60's lately and it is soooo nice!
