Lance's Last Baseball Game

We had Lance's last baseball game on the 25th. They didn't win (although it was close!) but they had fun and that's all that matters! Lance has already said he'd like to play again next year.

Music and the Spoken Word

We went to Music and the Spoken Word on the Sunday Pop Pop was here. Again, I only had my phone but here are some pics of us around Temple Square.

Days of 47 Parade & Iceland Monument

While Pop Pop was here we went down to Spanish Fork  (where he's from) to attend the Days of 47 Parade (Pioneer Day) and the Koyle Family Reunion. We sat with some of the Koyle extended family in front of an empty house being sold by a member of the family. It was a nice spot in the shade.

Pop Pop was in the Parade!!

It took Erin a little while to warm up to her cousins but once she did they were inseperable.

After the parade we went to see the Icelandic Monument. The Koyle family are decendants of the original Icelanders to settle in Spanish Fork.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at a church pavillion eating, playing games and chatting with various Koyle family members. It was a fun day and we can't wait for Pop Pop to come visit again!

Tony Grove with Pop Pop

On the weekend of the 21st Pop Pop came from South Carolina to spend several days with us. On the 20th we went up to Tony Grove.

The older guys went on a hike around the lake.

We had a nice picnic too.

While the older boys hiked Lance, Erin and I walked around and explored the forest. I also got some pics of the kids and countryside.

Swimming Lessons

We attended swimming lessons at the Brigham City Pool this year. We met at 8:45 every morning for two weeks. The kids loved it!

Grey's Class

After each lesson they have 10 minutes to play. They went down the slides, dove for weighted rings and just messed around.
