The Brigham City Harvest of Faith Celebration Pt. 2

Now we enter the more modern age of Brigham City.  The Bushnell General Military Hospital was opened in Brigham in 1942.

We moved into big bands and WWII.

Next we covered the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge just north of Brigham. In 1928 Congress passed and act to make the Bear River Delta a National Wildlife Refuge. This was the prettiest part of the program and the best dancers and gymnasts were chosen for this part.

Next they sang about the major corporations in the area. It was sung to the tune from 'Do As I'm Doing' and it was alot of fun!

Nucor!!

Then they talked about the 350 missionaries that are serving from this area and they brought up some of the families with missionaries out in the field.

A huge parade of flags from around the world!

In closing all 4000 kids sang 'I Love To See The Temple' as pictures of our new temple played on the screen. It was overwhelming and beautiful. A really wonderful night and we were so proud of Grey!

My mom, Chad, Grey and Lance got to attend the broadcast of the temple dedication this morning. Our new temple district now covers Box Elder County in Utah and Oneida County in southern Idaho. 4,000 of the 4,594 young people in these counties participated in this event.
