GERMANY!!!! Part I

Mom, Christina and I were flown to Germany by Grandpa Bowles (thanks Grandpa!) to help Lauren fly back to the US with her 3 boys. Her husband had to stay until his deployment was over. We had a week to drive around and sight see and it was a blast. We really have too much fun together.

With the pic below we should have been able to see the Alps. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy the entire week we were there. It was still beautiful but we did miss a few things.

Erin's Celebration of Learning

This was E's Celebration of Learning in March. They sent of their boxes of handmade toys and clothes to Zambia, they showed us the tools and items they learned to take them apart and put them back together, stained a bench that they donated to the school and wrote letters to the kids in Zambia that would receive their boxes.  It was cool to see the  things she had been studying.

This is Erin and Chad being crafty at home. Also, Erin had been working on her hair.

Bits and Field Trips

In January we sold the Van after 6 or so years together. Strangely, I don't miss it.

I finally messed with my 50mm lens that Chad got me a year ago.

I also went on a few 'fieldwork' expeditions with the boys. Grey's class went to the Leonardo Museum in SLC.

Lance's class went to the Astro Camp in Ogden.

Grey attended his first dance!! It was held February 13th at the school. Grey and I (mom) went out one night for dinner and to pick out a new tie or two.

Chad and I went to the dance as chaperones.  There were three types of dances that were taught at the dance. A swing, a waltz, and a line dance.

And then a few days later Chad, Erin and I went to IKEA and found a few chairs for the living room.

So that's a summary of January and February of 2013.
